KCE is thrilled to announce that we now have access to a Racewood Eventing Simulator and will be offering lessons and workshops on "Blue." A huge thank you to Blue's owner Lili for this opportunity as KCE continues to help horses and riders with their biomechanics! Below are some of the many questions I have been asked lately answered:

What can Blue do?

Blue knows all of the Grand Prix dressage moves, jumps up to 3 foot cross country and in stadium, and doesn't spook, buck, trip or any unexpected antics! She also has countless sensors to measure rein pressure, seat imbalances, leg pressure and many other factors a rider puts on their horse.

What challenges can Blue help with?

Blue helps riders to realize where their bodies are and with the help of Kendra or Becca, find the new positions while seeing measurable live feedback on one to three screens. This includes but is not limited to challenges in hips, ribs, jumping position, steering and so much more.

Blue also helps with confidence, whether it is learning something new or gaining confidence in something already known. Kendra has helped riders with fear challenges in regards to "unpredictability" of their horse by controlling Blue remotely while the rider has to stay soft and following Blue as Kendra changes in and out of different gaits.

Riders can gain strength on Blue like they may not be able to on a horse. Blue can jump an endless gymnastic line without getting tired, allowing the rider to feel consistency and work on jumping position without the worry of riding the perfect distance. Blue has many jump settings that can work on distances as well as steering to jumps.

What tools does Kendra use with Blue?

Because there isn't the concern for a horse spooking, Kendra's ideas feel limitless! Kendra utilizes Franklin Method balls, bands, can touch and hold body parts, which is especially useful in the canter and jumping where that normally cannot be done. Riders can put their hands in spots without the worry of a horse tripping, and can do lots of work with their eyes closed.

Can I bring my own saddle?

Blue is a wide lady who needs a wide saddle, so most saddles cannot be used on Blue. Blue has a growing inventory of saddles to use on her. Please reach out to Kendra directly to see if your wide saddle can be used on Blue.

What do I need to bring?

Riders on Blue will be asked to wear a helmet because nothing is perfect when it comes to safety, and there is still slim chance riders could fall off. There are pads around Blue incase this were to happen, but it is rare. Please bring a helmet if you have one, and clean riding boots. We recommend riding in breeches as yoga pants will be slippery.

Where is Blue located?

Blue is located in Kitnersville PA.

What is offered on Blue?

Kendra and Becca will be offering 1 hour and 1/2 hour private sessions, as well as workshops. Students must start with a 1 hour session unless previously discussed with Kendra to learn about Blue and understand the metrics.

Workshops will be offered throughout the year as "Enhancing Rider Biomechanics" which are workshops built around the participants needs and challenges. Kendra and Becca will pull from their large array of ideas and coach riders through what they need. During these workshops exercises on the ground may also be utilized depending on needs of participants.

My trainer wants to come, can they?

Absolutely! Workshops can be scheduled for a specific trainer and their clients so that the trainer can learn what their students need and help carry the ideas and feelings learned back to the arena on a horse. Trainers and students are encouraged to bring videos of their riding on an actual horse so that Kendra can see the full scope of a challenge.

Are there any limitations for riders?

Blue can carry riders up to 210 lbs and 10 years or older. Blue is suitable for any level/discipline. All minors must be accompanied by an adult and liability waivers must be signed before mounting Blue.

How do I schedule?

If you would like to sign up for one of the workshop dates listed on the KCE website, schedule a private lesson, or schedule a workshop for your group please email Kendra directly at info@kclarkeequine.com

How much does it cost to ride Blue?

What is the cancelation policy?

Any lessons canceled under 24 hours or unattended the day of will be charged the full lesson price. This includes any sickness or illness. Sessions may be canceled by Kendra in inclement weather where there is a risk of losing power.
