Your body tells a story in the saddle - but not always the one you think. Novel Saddle and Stirrup Sensors show you exactly what's happening in the saddle and in your stirrups, in real time, on your own horse.
Most riders have a feel for what's happening in their body — but feel and reality don't always match. The Novel system uses thin, flexible pressure sensor mats placed in the saddle and stirrups to capture objective, real-time data on how you're actually loading your horse with every stride.
Kendra interprets this live readout along with what she sees and what you feel, giving you a complete picture that no eye on the ground can provide alone. The result: faster breakthroughs, and corrections that actually stick.
"This was utterly amazing! Never before have I had such results that I could immediately carry to the next ride. The way Kendra interprets the information in rapid speed so both you and your horse can benefit is a gift. I'm signed up for the next time Kendra comes back to our barn in November! Definitely worth it! I'm investing in education for myself and my horse. Thank you Kendra for investing in yourself and always learning more ways to help our horses by way of us riders."
The sensors homed right in on my problem areas: I'm crooked, even when I think I'm straight :). This was consistent with previous biomechanics sessions and my regular lessons. But what was incredible was that it also revealed that, as I tried to correct my uneven seat bones, I was actually creating uneven pressure elsewhere, which wouldn't be visible to a trainer on the ground. By the end of the session, we had 're-calibrated' my seat, thighs, and legs, I got to spend time experiencing what 'correct' felt like, and experiment with how to 'get there' without creating a different issue! My horse, Jack, appreciated it! I could feel him move easier and willingly at the same time that the sensor data showed I was balanced. Can't wait to do another session when you come through town again!! Thank you!"
