meet blue

the racewood equestrian simulator

Welcome to the future of equestrian training. Meet Blue, a Racewood Eventing Simulator located in Kintnersville, PA. Whether you're working on your position, recovering from injury, building confidence, or looking to deepen your understanding of biomechanics, Blue offers an unparalleled experience tailored to your journey as a rider.

Why train on a simulator?

Blue is a high-tech, life-size horse that allows riders to experience realistic dressage, jumping, and cross-country scenarios without the unpredictability of a live horse. She can perform Grand Prix-level dressage movements and jump up to 1.20m.

“This weekend I had multiple lessons with Kendra on the simulator Blue and it is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made."

"Game changer! Life changing! Kendra’s client centered approach started where I was and through exploration, feedback and guidance Kendra was with me every step of the way as we worked together to find small adjustments that had huge impacts in my riding both physically and mentally.

She is what I’ve been looking for in an instructor for a long time. Her extensive knowledge of horse and rider biomechanics is amazing both on and off horse! She gave me at home exercises tailored for what I need.

What I learned this weekend has been far more valuable to me than any other lessons I’ve ever had. I could feel her passion for this work in every lesson. I’m am just so grateful to have had this experience and will be looking forward to many more! Lots of stories shared and great laughs had as well which made it even better!!”

What can Blue do?

What can Blue do?

Blue knows all of the Grand Prix dressage moves, jumps up to 1.20m cross country and stadium, and doesn't spook, buck, trip, or any unexpected antics! She also has countless sensors to measure rein pressure, seat imbalances, leg pressure, and many other factors a rider puts on their horse.

What challenges can Blue help with?

What challenges can Blue help with?

Blue helps riders to realize where their bodies are and, with the help of Kendr, find the new positions while seeing measurable live feedback on one to three screens. This includes but is not limited to challenges in hips, ribs, jumping position, steering, and so much more.

Blue also helps with confidence or nervous system injuries, whether it is learning something new, gaining confidence in something already known, or healing from an accident. Kendra is able to completely control Blue, allowing riders to focus on themselves and what they are feeling in their emotions and body.

Riders can gain strength on Blue like they may not be able to on a horse. Blue can jump an endless gymnastic line without getting tired, allowing the rider to feel consistent and work on jumping position without the worry of riding the perfect distance. Blue has many jump settings that can work on distances as well as steering to jumps.

What tools does Kendra use with Blue?

What tools does Kendra use with Blue?

Because there isn't a concern for a horse spooking, Kendra's ideas feel limitless! Kendra utilizes Franklin Method balls, bands, various tools found or made by Kendra, and she can touch and hold body parts, which is especially useful in the canter and jumping, where that normally cannot be done.

Can I bring my own saddle?

Can I bring my own saddle?

Blue needs a medium-wide to wide saddle, so if your saddle is this, please let Kendra know, and we can see if it will work. Blue has a growing inventory of saddles to use on her, including jumping, dressage, and western in various seat sizes.

What do I need to bring?

What do I need to bring?

Riders on Blue are required to wear a helmet and clean riding boots. We recommend riding in breeches as yoga pants will be slippery. If you ride with a vest or gloves, bring those too.

Absolutely! Workshops can be scheduled for a specific trainer and their clients, allowing your trainer to learn what their students need and help carry the ideas and feelings learned back to the arena on a horse. Trainers and students are encouraged to bring videos of their riding on an actual horse so that Kendra can see the full scope of a challenge.
